Similar to the self-driving car, we need the self-driving home. When we don’t have to worry about interoperability, we can focus on the future. You know a product is going to work with your ecosystem, no matter what.

Depending on a number of factors, this evolves with the expansion of edge capabilities and the ongoing addition of more wireless connectivity, higher levels of automation, deeper intelligence and a broader range of features. In the end, though, it comes down to knowing how best to deliver effective functionality and a consistently positive user experience.
What’s happening now is a big change. Players across the spectrum, from device manufacturers to system providers, are using industry standards like Matter to remove silos and work together toward a common goal, creating an era . That’s creating an era where companies can work more efficiently and truly differentiate.
We’re talking about a really wide range of technologies. Industry standards are foundational to what we do. Matter is really taking hold because there’s such commitment. It’s never been driven so hard by so many players. This is the difference.
